The ILO's 2025 global index estimates that one in four workers worldwide is in an occupation with some exposure to generative AI. Exposure varies across countries and occupations. It indicates potential changes to tasks, not a prediction that one in four jobs will disappear.

McKinsey's 2026 survey gathered responses from 1,719 participants across 97 countries. While 80% reported improved individual productivity, 37% reported a positive contribution from AI to their organization's earnings before interest and taxes.
